I have missed this one, thanks for bringing it back to attention. Feel free to make a PR as you've already found the fix, I'd gladly accept it and put it on pypi! |

Hi! I have following situation: I call a servlet in javascript. The servlet returns a byte stream of a PDF file. The file is downloaded but badly in a wrong encoding! viaFileSaverScript.pdf Thanks! |

I have forgotten mostly all about jQuery. But you should fetch the data as a blob directly using xhrFields.. jquery is trying to download the data as plain text and encode it, you don't want that |

Good, i was going to say that most stackoverflow answer and articles refer to using plain xhr, as jquery don't have support for responseType yet However, I found this transport that adds responseType support to jquery's ajax |

Another solution is to use the new ajax api: fetch Revolutionary user interface, which first used the «tooltips», which greatly facilitates the learning process without compromising the depth of the gameplay. A multipurpose internet mail extension, or MIME type, is an internet standard that describes the contents of internet files based on their natures and formats. This cataloging helps the browser open the file with the appropriate extension or plugin. Although the term includes the word âmail,â it is used for web pages, too.
MIME types contain two parts: a type and a sub-type.
- The type describes the categorization of MIME types that are linked to each other.
- In contrast, a subtype is unique to a specific file type that is part of the type.
Here is the MIME type for HTML:
MIME types are defined in HTML by the
Application Octet Stream
Distinguishing Among MIME Types
Following is a list of most MIME types, with their file extensions and the applications that use them. Many computers use file extensions to help identify file types. So, if you have a file with an odd extension on your website, you can look up the MIME type in this list.
Some types are prefixed with X, and some are prefixed with VND. These prefixes, respectively, refer to sub-types not listed with the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority or values specific to a vendor.

Hey, When posting a file to an api, I was getting a 422 and the issue seems to be that ethon does not set the content type correctly. Here's an example(unfortunately this is a private api) In verbose mode I can see the following: Any ideas? Thanks |
